Portrait and Wedding Destination Photographer

Philip Butkin (Lithuania, 1976) is a photographer, videographer, and trainer of marine mammals. I seriously started photographing in the early 2000s when lived and worked as a trainer of sea lions and dolphins in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was a way to distract himself from working with animals, and somehow entertain himself in a harsh and such a beautiful Kingdom, and street and landscape photography became the natural styles of photography for him.
Later, the works were noticed on social networks and Philip Butkin gained great popularity in his homeland in the genre of a wedding photographer and portraitist. In 2013, having moved to Moscow by invitation to work as a trainer of killer-whales, the style of his work in photography also changed, he became more and more immersed in portrait photography and earned the trust as a portrait photographer of such famous actors as Renata Litvinova, Yuri Chursin, Evgenia Kregzhde, Svetlana Kamynina, Igor Vernik, Vladimir Simonov, Troy James (CAN / USA), Denis Sukhanov, Viktor Sukharukov, Fedor Dobronravov and many others.2020 — 2023 worked as the chief photographer in the magazine “Theatrical Poster” (Moscow). Philip Butkin continues to shoot portraits all over the world, one of his last hobbies is to create collages of photographs that he shot on his travels, combining different stories and characters into one completely original art, using exclusively only that what was shot by him in different years of his professional work as a photographer.
